Senior Capital Markets Advisory Specialist, BNY Mellon

Karen Bodner is the Senior Capital Markets Advisory Specialist in the global investor relations advisory group, a part of BNY Mellon’s Depositary Receipts group. Karen is responsible for the delivery of advice on the capital markets to the DR division’s clients across the globe. She provides investor relations advisory services, and works on many of the division’s thought leadership pieces, including “Making the Match: The Market’s Evolving View of the Materiality of Nonfinancial Information”. Prior to joining BNY Mellon, Karen was the Head of Equity Capital Markets for Daiwa Capital Markets America, and responsible for all aspects of the origination of US transactions and the execution of equity and equity-linked issues for issuers from Asia and Japan. Prior to joining Daiwa, Karen was a Director in the Equity Capital Markets group at Citigroup Global Markets. At Citi, she was responsible for the execution of equity and equity-linked issues for foreign companies into the US market. Previously she was an analyst on the Equity Capital Markets team at Santander Investment Securities. Karen has experience executing large and small equity offerings in all industry sectors, bringing international issuers and investors together.
