Cari Coats is a business advisor, leadership strategist, executive coach and speaker. Coats is co-founder & managing partner of Accendo Leadership Advisory Group focused on executive coaching and team development, women leaders, and next generation family business leaders. Coats is executive-inresidence for entrepreneurship at the Crummer Graduate School
of Business at Rollins College, and a director on the boards of two early stage venture investment funds. Prior positions include chief operating officer for CNL Financial Group, a private alternative investment firm with a cumulative $28 billion in assets under management and a 16-year career
with the Orlando Magic where she played a key part in securing the franchise for Orlando and rose to be one of the highestranking women in professional sports. Coats has a Global Executive MBA from Duke University where she serves on the Board of Visitors and chairs the alumni
council for the top-ranked Fuqua School of Business at Duke.
