NIRI Announces Five Candidates for National Board Seats

ALEXANDRIA, VA – The
National Investor Relations Institute
(NIRI) has announced the nomination of five candidates to serve on NIRI’s Board of Directors.
Regular members (corporate IR practitioners and counselors) are asked to vote for a slate of new directors to serve four-year terms on the Board of Directors. The candidates include:
Darin Arita, CFA, IRC, Senior Vice President and Head of Investor Relations, Prudential Financial, Inc.
Katie Royce, CFA, Global Head of Investor Relations, Cognizant Technology Solutions
Brook Wootton, MBA, IRC
Rich Yerganian, Vice President of IR, Cerence Inc.
Associate members (service providers) are asked to vote for a candidate to serve a two-year term as Associate Member Director on the Board. The candidate is:
Tim Quast, President, ModernIR

“I am pleased that NIRI's Board of Directors has nominated these exceptional candidates,” said NIRI President and CEO Gary A. LaBranche, FASAE, CAE. “I encourage all members to cast their votes for these candidates, who will help lead NIRI into our next 50 years."
In addition, Ruth Venning, Executive Director, Investor Relations, Horizon Therapeutics plc, has been selected by the Board to serve as Chair-elect for the coming year. She will take office following NIRI’s Annual Meeting on December 4 at the Ritz Carlton Bacara in Santa Barbara, California.
