A trusted strategic advisor with over 25+ years of capital markets, investor relations, ESG, corporate communications, financial analysis and industry level experience. Prior to joining Compass Minerals as a Senior Director, Head of Investor Relations in late 2020, Douglas spent over 5 years as the Vice President of Investor Relations at Montage Resources (f/k/a Eclipse Resources). Before moving to the corporate side he served as a Managing Director of boutique energy firm KLR Group, where he was instrumental in building the firm’s energy research and sales platform. He has also held  the positions of Senior Vice President at Euro Pacific Capital as well as having a 16 year career at BMO Capital Markets, serving as a Managing Director.  Douglas has been awarded the prestigious Investor Relations Charter (IRC) designation, is an active participant in the Association for Investor Relations (NIRI)-serving as a member of the annual conference committee, is a member of the Manufacturers Alliance Investor Relations Council and a former alliance member of the Value Reporting Foundation (f/k/a SASB).
