Senior Vice President, Bay Area Head of Financial Communications & Capital Markets, Edelman

Jennifer Stroud leads the Bay Area Financial Communications and Capital Markets team advising clients of public and private companies in various industries on strategic communications including transaction communications, IPOs, financial and corporate public relations, and investor relations. Select current and past clients include Mattel, HP Inc., Getaround, Mediware, and Savers among others.

Previously, Jennifer was a Principal at Sard Verbinnen & Co for nearly four years in their New York City and London office, where she specialized in communications for domestic and cross border transactions, shareholder activism and crisis situations as well as ongoing profile-raising and reputation initiatives. Examples of transaction and special situation experience include: Time Warner Cable on its proposed acquisition by Comcast after unsolicited acquisition proposals by Charter Communications, XL Group plc on its acquisition of Catlin Group Limited, Bridge Growth Partners in the merger of CRGT and Salient, and Takata Corporation on its airbag inflator recall. In addition, Jennifer advised on profile-raising and ongoing communications initiatives as well as portfolio company transactions.

Prior to joining Sard Verbinnen & Co, Jennifer spent nearly a decade at The Abernathy MacGregor Group advising senior executives on ongoing media and investor relations programs as well as a range of transactions and special situations.

Jennifer earned a B.S. in Political Science at Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut.
