BEFORE LEAVING HOME

Pack your bags: You can expect June temperatures in sunny Phoenix to range between the average high of 104°F and the average low of 77°F. Attire for the 2019 NIRI Annual Conference is business casual, including special events such as the opening and closing receptions and the 50th Anniversary Celebration. Comfort is key when participating in education sessions, walking the IR Showcase floor, and connecting with your peers. While it might be hot outside, don’t forget a light sweater for air-conditioned meeting rooms.

Review the website and download the NIRI Events App to start deciding which sessions you’ll attend—there are so many to choose from that advanced preparation is essential to make the most of your conference experience.

The app provides the most up-to-date information on all conference events, session and speaker details, list of attendees, maps, and more. You can also use the app to scan the QR code in each meeting room to track your session attendance if you need a detailed record for claiming PDUs or other continuing education credits.

#NIRI19 is a nearly paperless conference. Session presentations and handouts, if they have been provided, will be accessible via the app to download before, during, and after the conference.

REGISTRATION CHECK-IN

Pick up your badge and agenda-at-a-glance at the Registration Desk when you arrive onsite at the JW Marriott. The Registration Desk is located in the foyer outside of the Grand Sonoran Ballroom on Level 1. Registration hours are as follows

Please note: Your conference badge is required to access all event spaces, so remember to wear your badge at all times.

Sunday Opening Reception in the IR Showcase - #NIRI19 officially kicks off at 6pm on June 2 with your first look at what this year's IR Showcase has to offer. You won't want to miss this party commemorating NIRI's founding year, 1969!
50th Anniversary Celebration - Join your NIRI community in celebrating NIRI's 50th Anniversary in the special reception on Monday evening. Look for special 50th Anniversary activities throughout the conference!
Tuesday Closing Reception in the IR Showcase - Take advantage of the last opportunity to meet with the dozens of service providers who have the tools and solutions to make your job easier.
Morning Fitness Activities - Enjoy cool, early morning fitness activities on the Sunset Lawn, with yoga on Monday and fitness bootcamp on Tuesday.
Silent Auction - Be sure to place your bids in the Silent Auction to benefit UMOM, a local Arizona charitable organization working to provide relief from homelessness.

CONNECT WITH EXHIBITORS

At #NIRI19, you will have plenty of time to explore the IR Showcase with extended opening hours. The Showcase will be open from 6:00-7:30pm on Sunday, 7:30am-5:00pm on Monday, and 7:30am-6:30pm Tuesday. Check out the list of exhibitors and start planning your way around the Showcase. An interactive Showcase floorplan with booth locations is available in the NIRI Events App.
