Maura J. Clark Director, Agrium, Nutrien, and Fortis Maura is a Corporate Director with extensive experience in strategic finance and executive leadership. Maura is a Director of Nutrien (NYSE:NTR), the world’s largest provider of crop inputs and services, where she chairs the Audit Committee and serves on the Human Resources and Compensation Committees. She also serves on the Board of Fortis Inc.(NYSE:FTS), a leader in the North American gas and electric utility industry, where she serves on the Audit and Nominating and Governance Committees. Maura was formerly a Director of Elizabeth Arden, Inc., a global prestige beauty company, where she chaired the Audit Committee, prior to the sale of Arden to Revlon Inc. in 2016. Maura is Vice Chairman and a Member of the Board of the Primary Care Development Corporation of New York, a Community Development Financial Institution that provides capital and advisory services to primary care facilities in underserved communities in the United States. Maura recently joined the Board of Sanctuary for Families, New York’s leading direct service provider and advocate for survivors of domestic violence, sex trafficking and gender violence. Maura retired from Direct Energy, a subsidiary of Centrica plc, in 2014 where she was President of Direct Energy Business, the leading B2B energy retailer in Canada and the United States. Previously Ms. Clark was Executive Vice President of North American Strategy and Mergers and Acquisitions for Direct Energy. Ms. Clark’s prior experience includes serving as a Managing Director with Goldman Sachs, serving as Chief Financial Officer of an independent oil refining and marketing company, and various progressive strategic finance roles in the financial services industry. Ms. Clark has a Bachelor of Arts from Queens University in Kingston, Ontario. She is a Canadian Chartered Professional Accountant.
