Photograph of Patrick Van de Wille Patrick Van de Wille leads communications, investor relations and marketing for InterDigital, a $3 billion mobile technology R&D and licensing company. In that role, he has overseen the implementation of a unique outreach and tracking platform in both public relations/brand marketing and investor relations, borrowing proven tools from the world of lead-gen content marketing like Salesforce.com and Pardot marketing automation, to drive both programs. The result has been a dramatic shift in corporate perception, accompanied by a $150%+ increase in stock price and the rollout of new marketing-oriented shareholder engagement tools, such as topical webinars.
 
Prior to joining InterDigital in 2012, Patrick was a Senior Vice President in the communications practice of FTI Consulting, and has held executive strategic communications positions at major public relations firm Ketchum, tech PR specialist Text 100, and in consulting engagements with companies around the world. Prior to entering corporate communications, Patrick worked in print and broadcast journalism with The Globe and Mail in Canada and various broadcasters including Fox Sports and the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation.
