Lisa Hartman

Lisa is an investor relations executive with over 20 years of professional experience spanning investor relations, corporate communications, accounting, finance, and partner marketing. Her IR career highlights include developing and executing best-in-class IR strategies from the ground up, increasing management credibility through crisis management including the COVID-19 pandemic and shareholder activism, leading cross functional teams through ESG strategy development and disclosure initiatives, and a successful career transition between complex industries. Lisa has lead investor relations functions for both NYSE and Nasdaq listed companies in the technology, financial services and industrial technology sectors ranging in size from $14B market cap to $1.5B market cap. Throughout her career Lisa has proven the ability to effect change by building strong relationships across a variety of stakeholders including executive leaders, corporate board members and top influencers in the investment community. Lisa has been a member of NIRI since 2004 and has served an aggregate of 12 years as a board member on the Silicon Valley and San Francisco chapters including the role of president of the San Francisco chapter. She holds an MBA from Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Business and a B.S., Accounting from San Jose State University.
 
Lisa is currently the vice president of Investor Relations and Corporate Communications at EnerSys (NYSE:ENS), a $4.3B market cap global industrial technology company and the leader in energy storage and power solutions for industrial applications. Reporting to the CFO, Lisa is responsible for all aspects of the investor relations and corporate communications strategy and execution. Lisa serves as a senior advisor to the CEO and executive leadership team on the company’s strategy, brand management, capital markets activities, and corporate communications initiatives. She is a member of EnerSys’ Risk, ESG, and Disclosures Committees, and is also an executive mentor in the Company’s Mentoring in Leadership Excellence program.  Lisa regularly engages with EnerSys’ board of directors to present the IR Strategy, Wall Street perceptions and feedback regarding the company’s strategy, messaging and financial disclosures, including recommendations on how to improve the company’s brand awareness.
 
Prior to joining EnerSys in 2022, she was the senior vice president of Investor Relations at Redwood Trust, Inc. (NYSE:RWT), a $1.4B market cap financial services company focused on the residential lending and investment market. In this role, Lisa was responsible for developing and overseeing the execution of the investor relations, ESG and corporate communications strategies. Lisa led the ESG Committee including presenting the strategy and updates to the board and led board engagement with shareholders and proxy analysts. She was also a member of the diversity and inclusion (D&I) council and was a member of the Policy, Procedures and Benefits committee and the Employee Branding committee. She co-led the Policy and Structure Change committee for Redwood’s women’s employee resource group.
