Chief Credentialing and Governance Officer, NIRI

Photograph of Iman Hannon Iman is an association professional with extensive experience in credentialing programs and the governance of non-profit organizations. She joined NIRI: The Association for Investor Relations in 2015 to pioneer the Investor Relations Charter, and other credentialing programs e.g., IR Foundations, and IR Advanced certificates.

In her current role as Chief Credentialing and Governance Officer, Iman serves as Board Secretary and advisor on governance matters. She is the liaison to NIRI’s Ethics Council, ESG & Diversity Practices, Fellows recognition program, and Compass Mentor program, and she manages collaboration initiatives with various IR organizations.
Prior to joining NIRI, Iman managed five certification programs and played a major role in establishing the AAMI Credentialing Institute (ACI). Iman holds a BA in Public Relations, a Certified Manager certification from ICPM, a Credentialing Specialist certificate from ICE, and an IOM designation from the US Chamber of Commerce.

In addition to her professional roles, Iman gives back to the credentialing and governance profession by serving as Board Secretary of the Certification Network Group and as a member of the NE Institute Board of Regents of the IOM program.
