NIRI Announces New Board Members and Opens Fellows Nominations

ALEXANDRIA, Va., December 11, 2024 – NIRI: The Association for Investor Relations, today announced that at its Annual Meeting on December 4, NIRI members elected the following four regular members to serve on the Board of Directors for a four-year term (2025-2028):

  • Deborah Belevan, CPA, IRC – Vice President, Investor Relations, Duolingo
  • Mitchell Haws, IRC, NIRI Fellow – Corporate Vice President, Investor Relations, Advanced Micro Devices
  • Mark Kinarney – Vice President, Investor Relations, Lantheus
  • Christina Kmetko, CPA, IRC – Owner and President, Evergreen Consulting & Associates, L.L.C.

Additionally, Alexandra Deignan transitioned to Board Chair, and Remy Bernarda, IRC, was elected Chair-Elect for 2025.

I also thank the other members of the NIRI Board who are completing their terms of service: Raj Mehan, P.ENG, CTP, CMA, IRC, Lisa Rose, CPA, IRC, and Cherryl Valenzuela, CFA. NIRI is fortunate to have exceptional leaders like these willing to donate their valuable time and talent to the investor relations profession and to our organization.”

NIRI also announced that nominations are now open for the 2025 Class of NIRI Fellows, and will be accepted until January 15, 2025

The NIRI Fellows Program recognizes NIRI members who epitomize leadership, integrity, involvement, and IR knowledge in the investor relations profession. NIRI Fellows are called to continued service as leaders, mentors, content distributors and ambassadors of NIRI and investor relations.

Nominations may come from NIRI members, chapters, staff, the NIRI Board of Directors, or the Fellows Selection Committee. The following NIRI member categories are eligible to apply: Regular (corporate, counselor) and Associate (service provider, academic, or retiree).
