Stephen’s broad spectrum of experience includes executive roles in government and consulting on major races in every region of the country.
Prior to joining Axiom, Stephen was the Chief of Staff to San Diego Mayor Kevin Faulconer, managing the mayor’s executive office in a city with a $3.4B budget and 11,000 employees.
Stephen’s work in electing Faulconer – the only big city Republican mayor in America – earned him national acclaim, including recognition as Campaign Manager of the Year by the American Association of Political Consultants in 2014. With Stephen at the helm, Faulconer’s approval ratings remained consistently high, despite only 26% Republican registration.
Stephen’s diverse experience and track record of turning campaign promises into executive results significantly benefit Axiom’s campaign and corporate clients.
Stephen was previously with Axiom during the 2010 election cycle. He was active in youth politics and is a former Chairman of the California College Republicans. He has a degree in Business Finance and lives in downtown San Diego with his wife Diana and their daughter Sophia.
