Your membership term is for one year, which begins the day you join NIRI. NIRI membership dues are not refundable.
While NIRI dues are not refundable, individual memberships can be transferred from one person within the same company to another by submitting a Transfer Membership Form. Transfers can be made any time before the final 90 days of a membership term.
NIRI offers a Group Membership package available for public companies, IR counselors, and service providers that have at least four people on their teams.
NIRI emails renewal reminders at 90, 60, 45, 30, 15 and three days before your membership expires. You can also access your membership account to check your membership expiration date. If you are not receiving these renewal emails, please contact memberservices@niri.org.
You can go to the NIRI website and use the Forgot Password link.
If your membership has lapsed, you can rejoin here.
NIRI membership dues are not deductible as a charitable contribution for U.S. federal income tax purposes but may be deductible as a business expense. NIRI estimates that 20 percent of your dues are not deductible because of NIRI lobbying activities on behalf of members.
Your NIRI membership dues do not cover chapter dues. Chapters have separate dues levels which can be found here.
Your membership becomes active on the date you become a member. Please note that NIRI membership staff send notices to the chapters within 24 hours of you joining. Chapters need to read that notice before knowing you are a chapter member.
Log in to the NIRI Customer Portal then go to “My Account.”
To change a member category, contact NIRI member services at memberservices@niri.org.
While NIRI dues are not refundable, NIRI offers a career transition program. The program suspends national and chapter membership dues for a period of up to twelve months at the end of your current membership term.
