NIRI has two publications that investor relations professionals should not be without.

Investor Relations Body of Knowledge, 2nd Edition

NIRI’s Investor Relations Body of Knowledge is the comprehensive resource for investor relations, highlighting the essential practice areas that an IR professional is expected to know in their role. The Body of Knowledge is built around 11 essential practice areas, or “domains”, that compose the day-to-day work of IR practitioners, providing information on key IR tasks and the variables that may impact how those tasks are performed.

This 160-page guide is derived from a comprehensive Job Task Analysis of IR practitioners and the contributions of dozens of senior investor relations subject matter experts and other industry leaders. This second edition (2024) bring the contents up to date and reflects new and emerging trends in the practice of IR, including expanded capital markets content and the addition of a new chapter focused on ESG issues.

This publication can be purchased in two formats:

  • Professionally bound hard copy book: $200 NIRI members; $250 nonmembers
  • Secure, digital-only publication: $100 NIRI members; $150 nonmembers
