Nicole McIntosh is vice president, investor relations at Waddell & Reed Financial, Inc., one of the oldest asset management companies in the United States. A seasoned professional, McIntosh is responsible for all aspects of the company's investor relations program. With over 15 years of business and financial experience, McIntosh joined the investor relations department in 1999 where she established the company's first formal investor relations program. McIntosh began her career at Waddell & Reed in the Corporate Reporting and Analysis department one year prior to her appointment in the Investor Relations department. Her knowledge of the company's financial reporting and corporate structure has proven invaluable to both internal and external audiences. Prior to joining Waddell & Reed, McIntosh served as a staff accountant for six years at a major oil company in Eastern Canada. McIntosh is President of the Kansas City Chapter of NIRI and has served on the Board in various roles since 2000. She served on the Annual Conference committee for two years and in June 2007, was awarded the University of Michigan Theory and Practice of Investor Relations.
She holds a Business and Accounting degree from Canada, a B.A. in Management with Magna Cum Laude honors from the University of Ottawa, and an M.B.A. from Webster University. She is a native of Québec, Canada and is fluent in French.
