Dallas*Fort Worth and Seattle Chapters Win NIRI’S Prestigious
Best Overall Chapter Awards

Vienna, VA – The National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI) announced today that its Dallas*Fort Worth and Seattle Chapters won the prestigious “Best Overall Chapter” awards for 2007.
NIRI Chairman Matthew Stroud, Vice President, Investor Relations of Darden Restaurants said, “NIRI is committed to advancing the practice of investor relations through professional development for investor relations professionals at all levels. Our chapters truly make a difference in enhancing the NIRI experience and help make NIRI membership invaluable throughout our members’ careers. This Annual Conference and awards ceremony provides an excellent opportunity to recognize some of the innovative programs and best practices in our 33 nationwide chapters.”
Eighteen awards were presented at the gala awards dinner in Orlando, Florida, where the 2007 NIRI Annual Conference was held from June 3-6, 2007, with more than 1,400 investor relations professionals in attendance. Winners of the 2007 Best in Category are:

Nicole McIntosh was also honored with the University of Michigan Scholarship Award. Ms. McIntosh was selected to receive this award based on an essay competition.
