For the past twenty years, Pam Murphy has directed the corporate communications and investor relations programs for multiple NASDAQ-listed emerging biopharmaceutical companies. She is currently vice president of corporate communications and investor relations at Incyte Corporation, located in Wilmington, Delaware. She is responsible for Incyte’s corporate communications, reputation management and relationships with investors, the media and patient advocacy groups.

She has designed and implemented numerous communications and IR programs that resulted in improved access to the capital markets, expanded analyst coverage and increased institutional investor support. Additional benefits from these programs included improved access to strategic partners, the media and key employees.

Because of the inherent volatility that occurs in emerging biotech companies, she has gained a great deal of experience in the areas of reputation management and crisis communications and knows firsthand the risks associated with losing the trust of investors and analysts.

She is a prior Board Member of the National Investor Relations Institute and remains an active member. She was instrumental in forming NIRI’s Roundtable for Strategic Communication and Reputation Management with the organization’s prior CEO, Lou Thomson. She is on the Board of Directors for Delaware BIO and chairs its communications committee.

Ruth Cotter is the corporate vice president of investor relations (IR) at Advanced Micro Devices (NYSE: AMD). Her responsibilities include leading AMD’s global relationships with Wall Street. Ruth joined AMD in 2002 as an investor relations manager.

Ruth has over 15 years of IR experience. Prior to joining AMD, Ruth’s expertise spanned several years at CRH plc, one of the worlds largest building materials groups listed on the Irish, London and New York stock exchanges. Following that, she spent a number of years at Trintech Group plc, co-headquartered in Ireland and the USA. A leading provider of transaction risk management solutions, who at that time was listed on Nasdaq and the German stock exchanges. In addition, Ruth has public relations experience in the public, banking and consumer industries.

Ruth serves on the National Investor Relations Institute’s (NIRI) Board of Directors. Ruth was co-Chairperson of NIRI’s 2010 Annual Conference, served as co-Chair of NIRI’s Semiconductor Roundtable and sat on the NIRI Annual Conference 2009 organizing committee.

Ruth holds a bachelor's degree in Economics and History from University College Cork, Ireland.

David Olson was most recently senior vice president, Corporate Communications and an executive officer of Health Net, Inc., one of the nation’s largest publicly traded managed health care companies. Mr. Olson has broad experience ranging from investors relations to crisis and financial communications with an especially deep expertise in the health care sector.

At Health Net, Mr. Olson was responsible for the company's investor relations function and internal and external communications, and also oversaw government relations and charitable contributions. He was previously vice president, Investor and Public Relations, for Health Systems International, Inc. (HSI), one of Health Net’s predecessor companies. Prior to joining HSI in 1994, he was vice president, Corporate Communications for National Medical Enterprises, Inc. (NME), having joined NME in 1989 as director of Shareholder Communications.

Previously he was a vice president with a leading investor relations firm, and served more than five years with FCS Laboratories, Inc., as director of Corporate Communications and Investor Relations.

He began his career in New York with Carl Byoir and Associates, the J. Walter Thompson Company and Burson Marsteller.

Mr. Olson is a member of the National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI) Senior Roundtable and has served on the NIRI Board of Directors. He serves on the Board of Trustees for Rolling Hills Preparatory School and the Board of the Children’s Burn Foundation. Mr. Olson holds a B.A. in English from Washington and Lee University.
