Carol DiRaimo joined Jack in the Box Inc. as vice president of investor relations & corporate communications in July 2008. Prior to joining Jack in the Box, she was vice president of investor relations for Applebee’s International, Inc. She spent 14 years with Applebee’s and served in a variety of capacities, including financial planning & reporting, treasury and corporate analysis, before heading the investor relations function. Ms. DiRaimo has more than 20 years of experience in the restaurant industry, having previously worked for Gilbert/Robinson. A certified public accountant (Bronze Medalist 1983, State of Missouri), Ms. DiRaimo has six years of public accounting experience with Deloitte.
Ms. DiRaimo was named to the Institutional Investor All-America Executive Team in 2011 and 2010. Also in 2011, IR Magazine honored Ms. DiRaimo as “Best Investor Relations Officer” for a small cap company. She received an honorable mention for this award in 2009 while Jack in the Box received an honorable mention for “Most Progress in Investor Relations” in 2010 and 2009. IR Magazine also recognized Ms. DiRaimo and Applebee’s while she was an executive at that company. For four consecutive years – from 2004 to 2007 – she was named “Best Investor Relations Officer” for a small to mid cap company while Applebee’s earned “Best Overall Investor Relations” honors for a small cap company. In 2006, Institutional Investor Magazine named Applebee’s one of America’s Most Shareholder-Friendly Companies.
Ms. DiRaimo holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting, summa cum laude, from the University of Missouri-Columbia, and she received an Executive Fellows MBA from Rockhurst University in Kansas City.
Ms. DiRaimo has served on the Board of Directors of the National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI) since 2006. In 2010, Ms. DiRaimo was elected to the Board of Trustees of Rockhurst University where she serves on the Advancement, Audit and Finance Committees.
