John Adam
John Adam is a member of the Corporate Strategy Group at Liquidnet Holdings, Inc. John is responsible for strategic initiatives, partnerships, and business development at Liquidnet. He joined Liquidnet in 2002, and was responsible for the product management of Liquidnet's OMS/EMS interfaces as well as internal applications before moving into his current role. John developed his expertise in financial services and middleware technology at NEON, Sybase, and Slam Dunk networks and has over 12 years of industry experience. He holds a B.A. in International Relations from the Maxwell School at Syracuse University.

Ben Axler
Ben Axler is Founding Partner of Spruce Point Capital Management, a long/short hedge fund specializing in uncovering value investments and financial frauds. Mr. Axler is an activist short-seller and has exposed over $1 billion of listed frauds on Nasdaq and the NYSE. Prior to founding his company in 2009, Mr. Axler spent eight years as an investment banker with Credit Suisse and Barclays Capital where he structured and executed billions of dollars of financing, derivative risk management, and M&A deals for leading Fortune 500 clients. Mr. Axler started his career with Credit Suisse in 2000, where he held roles with the Financial Strategy, Corporate Risk Management, and M&A groups.

From 2006 - 2008, Mr. Axler was an Associate Director at Barclays Capital in the Diversified Industrials Group. Mr. Axler is a contributing writer to Sumzero, SeekingAlpha, and the TheStreet.com, and was profiled in the book "The Happiness Advantage: The Seven Principles of Positive Psychology That Fuel Success and Performance at Work." Mr. Axler graduated from Yale University with a master's degree in Statistics and received his B.A. Statistics and B.S. Marketing / Business Administration from Rutgers College, where he graduated with summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa honors.

Kraig Conrad
Kraig Conrad is responsible for expanding NIRI educational offerings to enhance the professional development of investor relations officers. In this role he leads the development of Senior Roundtable, annual conference, Industry Roundtables, online education and university programs. Prior to NIRI, Conrad led the research activities of the Corporate Executive Board (CEB) strategy practice, and was the corporate finance and risk management subject matter expert responsible for producing education events, sessions, articles and publications at the Association for Financial Professionals (AFP). He has a B.A. in economics from the University of Southern California and an M.B.A. from the University of Illinois, Chicago.

Nicole Olson
Nicole Olson is the Investor Relations Officer at Liquidnet. Nicole joined Liquidnet in 2004 to lead international marketing/ communications for the company’s European, Canadian and Asian operations, and took on the role of IRO in early 2008. Prior to joining Liquidnet, Nicole worked in Investor Relations at w-Technologies, a financial technology company, and at Padilla Speer Beardsley, an IR consultancy. Nicole has more than 12 years of related experience and holds a B.A. in Business and Journalism from the University of St. Thomas.

Chris Savino
Chris Savino is head growth trader at Morgan Stanley, specialized in trading small and midcap stocks. Chris joined Morgan Stanley in 1996. Prior to Morgan Stanley, he was a bond evaluator at Thomson Financial Services (now Thomson Reuters). He received degress in Economics and Political Science from Fordham University. Chris is Caimpagn Board Member of St Mary's Children Hospital, Bayside NY, and is involved with the Make a Wish Foundation.

Larry Tabb
Larry Tabb is the founder and CEO of TABB Group, the financial markets’ research and strategic advisory firm focused exclusively on capital markets. Founded in 2003 and based on the interview-based research methodology of “first-person knowledge” he developed, TABB Group analyzes and quantifies the investing value chain from the fiduciary, investment manager, broker, exchange and custodian, helping senior business leaders gain a truer understanding of financial markets issues.

Larry has published industry research analyzing ECNs; fixed income, equity and foreign exchange trading systems; back-office trade processing systems; broker workstations; analytical trading tools; infrastructure development tools; and foreign and emerging market technologies. He has written extensively on the changing market structure, exchanges and regulatory issues and business continuity as well as new technology trends in cost management, risk management, order management, best execution, algorithmic trading, dark pools, multi- and cross-asset trading, liquidity management, FIX, STP, connectivity, custody and advances in emerging technologies.

Before founding TABB Group, he was vice president of TowerGroup’s Securities & Investments practice where he managed research across the capital markets, investment management, retail brokerage and wealth management segments. As the founding member of TowerGroup’s securities and investments business, he was instrumental in growing the business into a global brand representing over 150 research clients around the world.
